Verizon wireless is by far the best wireless network in the United States. The Verizon Wireless phone network is a mobile phone network that operates in much of the United States and uses CDMA technology. They offer the typical set of mobile phone services, such as voicemail and caller ID, but they also offer specialized features such as Get It Now, a system from which users can purchase and download software applications for their Verizon phones, V CAST, which offers high speed delivery of multimedia content such as streaming video and audio, and VZ Navigator, a navigation system that uses the phone's GPS to provide directions and maps, much like any other GPS unit, only without the additional cost of equipment. Another advantage to VZ Navigator is that you are only carrying one device on your person if you often switch vehicles. Since your cell phone is your GPS unit, you do not have to worry about an additional charging cord or anything like that -- simply plug your cell phone into your car charger.
The Verizon Wireless phone network is the best mobile network in the United States. In many rural areas, the Verizon Wireless phone network is the only one that actually works. In fact, if you do large amounts of traveling, you can bet that Verizon is going to give you the most consistent signals. This is mainly because part of Verizon's creation was in merging with GTE, who serviced a great deal of the rural areas in the United States.
When you have a phone on the Verizon Wireless phone network, you are able to get a new phone once every two years at the promotional price. This means that if new customers are being offered a phone for free with a new contract, current customers can also get that phone for free if they are up for their two year renewal. If the phone would cost a few hundred dollars for a new customer, the existing one will get it for that same price. Verizon offers some of the latest and best technology in their phones, including manufacturers such as Samsung, Motorola, and LG, just to name a few.
